At Johnson Controls I was part of the development of the 2009 Ford Fusion interior. My job was to make the front seat design feasible.
Ford did stop this project for several years, and the now 2012 B-Max is the result. Most interesting part of this seat was the integrated seat belt to allow the huge door opening without the b-pillars. However, I was done with this in 2006 and back then the design was to be like this…
